Principal’s Message

 

Last school year was a year that no one could have imagined. It was heartbreaking to leave Desert Garden the way we did on March 16th!  But at the same time, I was very proud of the way our teachers and students handled the situation! Teachers quickly rearranged their world and moved mountains to ensure that our students would continue to receive a quality education. As we begin this unconventional 2020-2021 school year, we will be turning our current situation into an opportunity to improve our practices for teaching, learning, and empowering our students and families.

 

I don’t want our parents to worry about their kids regressing. Every single child is in the same boat and they will all be ok. Our teachers are Professional Facilitators of Learning, they will course correct and meet your children where they are!  We got this!
